Grammy winner Brittany Howard heading house to Alabama for September live performance



Grammy-award winner and Athens native Brittany Howard shall be returning to her house state for a live performance in September.

Howard, who first gained fame because the lead singer for Alabama Shakes, shall be in live performance on the Alabama Theater on September 2. Tickets for the 8 p.m. live performance are on sale at Ticketmaster beginning at $42 plus service prices.

Becca Mancari will open the present. Mancari is not any stranger to Howard; she performs with Howard within the Bermuda Triangle Band.

Howard picked up one other Grammy earlier in 2021 for her debut solo album “Jamie.”

She gained Greatest Rock Track for “Keep Excessive,” and was nominated in 4 different classes.

The cease in Birmingham is the one Alabama date on her tour as of early June, which incorporates stops at Lollapalooza in Chicago; Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tennessee; the Life is Lovely Competition in Las Vegas; Exterior Lands in San Francisco; and the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
