HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – A Huntsville church group gave up their Saturday morning to prep over 300 free meals for members of the neighborhood in want. On the menu on the drive-thru occasion, a piping sizzling plate of Salisbury steak with sides.
Organizers say the occasion was an enormous success, with vehicles lined up effectively forward of the beginning time. These volunteering on the giveaway stated seeing the turnout at occasions like this allow them to know their work was worthwhile.
“It’s actually a blessing. It touches my coronary heart. I like working with folks, so it’s actually a great feeling and a great blessing to present again to the neighborhood,” stated volunteer Kenyetta Ammons.
Organizers from the church group stated they’re planning to carry their subsequent meals giveaway at 8 A.M. subsequent Saturday.
