When Michael Douglas attended his daughter’s highschool commencement there was pomp, there was circumstance and only a wee little bit of awkwardness.
Throughout a latest look on The Kelly Clarkson Present, the 76-year-old actor gushed about attending the commencement ceremony of his 18-year-old daughter Carys—certainly one of his two youngsters with spouse Catherine Zeta-Jones. And though the digital celebration sounded prefer it went off with out a hitch, The Kominsky Technique star revealed there was a mix-up that, not going to lie, sounded uncomfortable AF.
“It is a bit of tough if you’re going out the doorways and the opposite mother and father are saying, ‘Oh congratulations, you have to be so happy with your granddaughter,'” the actor recalled. “I mentioned, ‘Nicely, I do not know, man. Yeah, OK.'”
Though the actor recalled the comment being a bit on the “tough” facet to listen to, he did appear to take the remark in good stride.
“I am not gonna take it private,” he continued. “I believe they’re simply making an attempt to be good.”
