Veterans Park Memorial Room in Florence preserves historical past of those that have served



FLORENCE, Ala. — Veterans in Florence want to remind individuals of a technique to keep in mind and honor those that have served past Memorial Day.

The Memorial Room opened at Veterans Park on Memorial Day in 1977. The room serves as a museum that’s full of wartime memorabilia like firearms, uniforms, even donated objects belonging to those that have served.
