Huntsville to host Memorial Day tribute, wreath-laying ceremony



HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Metropolis of Huntsville and Mayor Tommy Battle will honor fallen American service members in a particular Memorial Day ceremony and wreath-laying on Monday, Could 31.

The occasion will start at 9 a.m. on the Huntsville-Madison County Veterans Memorial Park on Monroe Road in downtown Huntsville. The general public, annual occasion is introduced by the North Alabama Veterans and Fraternal Organizations Coalition and the AUSA Redstone-Huntsville Chapter.

The occasion’s visitor speaker will likely be Lt. Gen. Donnie Walker, Deputy Commanding Common of the U.S. Military Materials Command/Staff Redstone Senior Commander.
