WILLOUGHBY, Ohio (WJW) — A gaggle of individuals discovered an outdated navy artillery shell at a park in Willoughby, Ohio on Friday.

Police had been known as to Daniels Park on Johnnycake Ridge Highway shortly after midday and the Lake County Bomb Squad responded. Willoughby police mentioned the 2-foot-long gadget was discovered within the water.

Police mentioned officers from Wright-Patterson Air Pressure Base in Dayton drove to help the bomb squad and assess the state of affairs. Till they arrived, a part of the park and state Route 84 had been closed for the investigation.
