VP Kamala Harris’ Stepdaughter Ella Emhoff Graduates From Faculty

Earlier than she walks the runway, Ella Emhoff is strolling throughout the stage—of her digital commencement!

The stepdaughter of Vice President Kamala Harris celebrated her commencement from New York’s The New Faculty on Friday, Could 14. Ella, 21, obtained her Bachelor of Wonderful Arts from the school’s Parsons Faculty of Design.

Her dad, First Gentleman Doug Emhoff, posted a proud pic of the vogue scholar in her purple commencement robe with a conventional black cap. 

“My darling Ella, we’re such proud dad and mom!” he wrote. “We love you a lot, and are very a lot wanting ahead to all you do sooner or later.”

Doug added, “And, to the opposite Class of 2021 graduates on the market, enormous congratulations!”

Ella and her classmates marked their accomplishment with a digital graduation ceremony at 11 a.m. EST on Friday. Grads can even be handled to an “after occasion” with tarot card readings, DJ units, performances and extra memory-making moments at 7 p.m. tonight, in accordance with the college’s Instagram web page.
