Lady ‘hoarding gas’ catches hearth after crash throughout tried site visitors cease in South Carolina



PICKENS COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A girl, who deputies say was hoarding gas in her trunk, caught on hearth after a crash in Pickens County.

A Pickens County Sheriff’s Workplace deputy noticed a 2007 Pontiac G6 touring on Jameson Highway in Pickens on Thursday night time. They are saying it was reported stolen.

Because the automobile approached the intersection of Jameson Highway and Wolf Creek Highway, the deputy tried to conduct a site visitors cease, based on the sheriff’s workplace. The driving force of the Pontiac turned left onto Wolf Creek Highway tried to flee.

Deputies say the driving force of the Pontiac misplaced management of the automobile and flipped it. The automobile caught hearth and a number of explosions had been heard contained in the automobile, based on the sheriff’s workplace.

Because the deputy approached the automobile, driver 28-year-old Jessica Dale Patterson exited the automobile and was on hearth. The deputy pushed Patterson to the bottom in an effort to put out the flames, deputies mentioned in a press launch.

She was transported to the hospital. Her situation is unknown at the moment.

Patterson advised deputies that she was transporting a number of containers of gas that she was hoarding within the trunk of the automobile.

The South Carolina Freeway Patrol responded to the scene to research.
