MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The state Fraternal Order of Police held its annual Fallen Officers Memorial Friday, to honor regulation enforcement officers killed within the line of responsibility in 2019 and 2020.
Individuals gathered on the Alabama state capitol Friday morning for a solemn day of remembrance, to honor those that gave the final word sacrifice whereas working to serve and shield.
Among the many names known as was Billy Fred Clardy, III.
Clardy was a Huntsville Police Officer and STAC agent who was shot and killed throughout a drug investigation on Lavert Avenue in December of 2019.
