FBI: Armed man shot by officers exterior CIA headquarters
McLEAN, Va. (AP) — Not less than one FBI agent opened fireplace on an armed man exterior CIA headquarters in Virginia on Monday, authorities stated.
The suspect was shot and wounded after he “emerged from his automobile with a weapon,” round 6 p.m. E.T., the FBI stated in an announcement.
The unidentified suspect was taken to an area hospital and his situation wasn’t instantly recognized.
The FBI stated it’s reviewing the incident.
“The overview course of is thorough and goal, and is carried out as expeditiously as attainable beneath the circumstances,” the FBI stated.
