HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Officer William Darby is accused of murdering Jeffrey Parker in April 2018.

Parker referred to as 911 saying he was suicidal. Officer Darby was the third officer to reply to Parker’s dwelling on Deramus Avenue. Darby shot Parker after Parker refused to drop a gun he had been holding to his personal head.

After the capturing, a Huntsville Police Division Evaluation Board discovered Darby acted inside division coverage, however the Madison County District Legal professional’s Workplace disagreed. A Madison County grand jury indicted him for homicide in August 2018.
