Texas man arrested for kidnapping, trafficking, assaulting a toddler after police rescue 13-year-old Alabama woman



TYLER, Texas (KETK) – A 13-year-old woman from Florence, Alabama was rescued by the Tyler Police Division from a house on Woods Boulevard Saturday afternoon, based on Tyler PD Public Data Officer Andy Erbaugh.

19-year-old Daniel Dylan Skipworth of Tyler was charged with kidnapping, aggravated sexual assault of a kid, sex-trafficking of a kid and resisting arrest, search or transport. His bonds whole to $560,000.

Tyler police obtained data from the FBI that the woman is likely to be at a location on the 3600 block of Woods Boulevard, they usually went there on Saturday round 5 p.m.

Police talked to Skipworth and located proof that the woman might probably be on the location. Erbaugh stated that Skipworth then received into an altercation with Tyler officers and started pushing them and tried to chunk one among them.

Police detained Skipworth till they obtained a search warrant, then discovered the 13-year-old at Skipworth’s residence.

Not one of the cops had been injured, based on Erbaugh, and the 13-year-old woman was okay.

Erbaugh stated that Skipworth picked the woman up in Alabama and had her for 2 days.

Police have custody of the woman and can handle her till her mom comes from Alabama to select her up.

The investigation is ongoing, based on Erbaugh.
