LSU fraternity pays off former cook dinner’s mortgage
BAKER, La. (BRPROUD) – Two weeks in the past, a former cook dinner for an LSU fraternity had a really big day.
Jessie Hamilton was the beneficiary of huge shock on her 74th birthday.
For 14 years, Hamilton was one of many cooks for members of the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity.
Based on fraternity member Johnny Joubert, they “cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner for about 50 folks.”
The fraternity raised over $50,000 to repay Robinson’s mortgage.
Joubert says, “Jessie was and nonetheless is an excellent individual. We hope that we’ve got impressed others to do good works for folks of their lives.”
