Two charged after meth labs present in Dekalb County

DEKALB COUNTY, Ala. — Two persons are dealing with costs after Dekalb County authorities mentioned they discovered two meth labs within the Blake group.

Jody Daniel Phillips, 45, and Kyla Marie Dabbs, 30, each of Fort Payne, have been arrested on March 23.

The Dekalb County Sheriff’s Workplace mentioned it had acquired quite a few complaints about drug exercise and stopped a car leaving a house on County Highway 121. Phillips and Dabbs have been within the car and had heroin and marijuana, authorities mentioned.

A search turned up two meth labs, about 33 grams of meth, two weapons, meth making supplies and drug paraphernalia, authorities mentioned.

Phillips was charged with first-degree meth manufacturing, drug trafficking, manufacturing drug paraphernalia and carrying a pistol unlawfully.

Dabbs was charged with drug possession, second-degree marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession.

The sheriff’s workplace mentioned extra costs might be filed within the case.
